I used Sting and Geddy Lee as my two masculine role models. No one in my vicinity growing up quite fit the bill on the masculine side. I've let go of them now like that and am without a male role model permanently. I still latch onto my maternal and now paternal grandmothers though. Sting and Geddy Lee are 20 years older than me too, so I'm kinda taking control of the situation now. They were incredible, but I'm mostly on my own now.I love Ann. I love her as her essentially transmasculine self. She "wears the pants" in our relationship. I wear the dresses. I'm in charge of cooking, medition, melody design, laundry, ironing. She does construction, concrete work, music arranging, conducting. She's into This Old House and I'm into How It's Made.
Sexual frustration drove me to divorce her. And of course I had this crazy life mission. So not that getting back together with her would solve that, but you know, I'm 26 years older and she is too. She certainly knows me better than anyone.
So, that is how our Ann+Rand works. Not sure what she is up to, but wow, it's crazy how cool we both are! Hope she is doing well and thinking of possibilities all around....
